Complete dentures involve removing all remaining teeth and allowing the gum tissue to heal. The healing process on average ranges 8 weeks to 12 weeks. Once the healing process has been completed, a patient is ready for placement. During the healing process, to avoid being toothless, patient’s can utilize what’s called immediate dentures.
